cloudcycle goes ambient
a new cloud by ISHQ (deep ambient…30 min long !)
since Matt hasn’t got a fast connection and the file is more than 500 megas, for this one we need to wait the physical postage times and it will be probably uploaded by the mid of january.

very soon few uploads…a new zip pack for our subscribers including all the latest clouds and the final mixes of n.ubiq and oceano.
since someone asked about it : cloudcycle /chemtrails got stuck on the way in the pipeline but it will exist at one point.

we are thinking to get a dedicated server next year…

few numbers from our statistics :
more than 3h and a half of music…24 different versions…and more coming
in 7 months cloudcycle had nearly 10.000 visits and more than 1.500 unique visitors.
difficult to say the exact number of downloads of the free mp3 since we use many different distributions.
itunes/miro podcast distribution: 1.000 downloads
soundcloud : 1.000 downloads plus 2.000 plays
our website : more or less 1.000 downloads (not sure since our download counter crashed few times)
plus some other random numbers from different sources like Master Margherita podomatic (probably 2.000 downloads or more).

66 70 ppl subscribed with their email…and most of them sent us a great and lovely feedback..
they are not so many…but they loving it…thanks again for the support.

cloudcycle has been completely ignored by the so called press (they asked us money to write a review)
only few blogs, Radio Dreykland, SomaFm and Mantis Radio showed a lot of interest.
cloudcyle got booked for next boom festival

few ppl generously donated…not many…
and actually we got more income from the sales on Addictech than from donations…
it should sound strange, depressing or at least frustrating…and possibly it means that our experiment is a failure…
but I (maux) think that this is normal, since we only starting to explore a new way…
it will not be remunerative in the short run…I still believe that you (listeners) should give us money if and when you feel like it…to support…and that buying and selling in a market is an old way of exchange that especially music should beis able to overcome….I could be wrong….
